When Picasso Met Matisse

We had an incident a little while back with people think some people's art was better then others.... which made me not too happy. So I brought out one of my favorite books to teach the lesson that all art is good we just have different tastes!

The kids love the book, and it also taught a bit of history about the famous artists Picasso and Matisse.

When we were done discussing they did self portraits of themselves. They then had to decide were they a Picasso or a Matisse. It was very interesting what they chose and why :).
