Mousey Alphabetical Spelling: Students practice writing the spelling words of the week, by putting them in alphabetical order. Vocab Flip-Flap: Print these pages back to back. Students fold these pages “hotdog” ways. They fill out the flip flap accordingly. If they are struggling with the definition portion, they can look it up in the glossary at the back of their book. Mouse Prefixes pre-, re-, bi-: This is a cut and paste where students practice the prefixes being learned during the week. The “oo” Monster Sheet: This is a sheet where students practice making words with the double “O” sound. Persuade Me You’re a Zilla Stories: This is a fun way where they get to write about being “Zillas”. Sheets are provided for writing their entire story. Irregular Verbs Flip-Flap: Print these pages back to back. Students fold them “hot dog” ways then fill them out accordingly. Dogzilla Cause and Effect Tri-Fold: Print these pages back to back.
