Weaving Rug Conclusion Craft and Writing: This is an activity where students learn the basics of weaving, and also practice making conclusions about the story.
Suffixes โly, -ful, and โy Activities: This is a cut and paste activity for students to practice the three suffixes of the lesson.
Final Stable Syllables โtion and โture activities: This is a cut and paste activity to practice adding the sound tion or ture to words.
Informational Paragraph about My City: Students will practice writing an informational paragraph about their city,
Multiple Meaning Goat Barns: This is an activity where students will put two different meanings of each word in a barn. There are 4 different goat barns.
My Summary of Goat in The Rug Sheet: This is a sheet for students to write a summary of The Goat in The Rug.
Roll a Spelling Word: This is an activity where students will practice writing spelling words. You will need dice for this activity.
High Frequency Word Practice: Two High Frequency word activities have been included in this supplement. One is a color by High Frequency word. The other is a read, trace, write, rainbow write.
Vocab Flip-Flap: Print these Pages back to back. Students fold these pages โhot dogโ ways. They fill out the flip flap accordingly. If they are struggling with the definition portion, they can look it up in the glossary at the back of their book.
